Custom, one-of-a-kind solid Balsa Model-T entirely hand shaped and finished by Donald Takayama, signed by Donald. All wood longboard custom made by Donald Takayama for Mitch's Surf Shop in 1995. Solid laminated Balsa body with black pinlines on bottom nose concave. No edition number, with "To Mitch, Much Aloha, Donald Takayama" written on top of the board. Glassed-on custom wood fin. Mint condition, never used. "D.T." signed at tail, see photos below: Length: 9' 6" Width: 23" Thickness: 3 1/8" Nose: 19" Tail: 15 3/4"
The Model-T: one of Donald's retro classic longboard designs that every one on his team enjoys riding. Versatile with a broad, easy to ride nose, wide loose tail, it's perfect for low to shoulder-high waves. Soft 60/40 rails, single fin, squaretail with a drawn-out concave.
